Baking with Johann: "Sprinkle Delicious"

Good morning friends!

Today's recipe is brought to you by our resident pastry chef:   Johann!

He will be guiding you through a new recipe of his that he calls "Sprinkle Delicious"

Step 1:   Gather your ingredients:
(This list is highly open to interpretation.  Feel free to go about in your cupboards and choose whatever fancies you)

You will need:   1 egg (or 2 or three)
1/2 cup flour (or 2 or three)
                          1/2 cup milk (or... whatever)
sprinkles (preferably rainbow, but you can use whatever you have handy)
raisins  (about a handful ?)  or more
sugar  ( a good deal of sugar)

Step 2:  Get a medium size mixing bowl, and your mother's favorite spatula.  Also a pepper grinder (just in case) and a whisk.  And a spoon.  And two more spoons.

Step 3:  Refuse to wear an apron, because you're pretty sure you're going to be careful and not make a mess.

Step 4:  Mix all of the ingredients together.  If your egg hits the counter instead of the bowl, don't fret.  Just simply scoop it up with your hands and dump it back in there.  It's all good.  No worries.

Step 5:  Add a liberal helping of sprinkles to the mixture, taste.  Then add some more.  A little more.

Step 6:  Now let the mixture set for about a half an hour.  (Now is a good time to work on other projects you may have going on around the house)

Step 7:  Assemble into muffin tins.  Add a couple more sprinkles to that.  There!  Now add one extra special sprinkle to the top (if you have them)

Step 8:  Sprinkle Delicious!  Serves 6 - 8.   (But I wouldn't if I were you)
